We spoke at Conference and then made a presentation to District Governor 5450, Steve Cantrell, from District Governor 9940 Tony Fryer. In the photo Judith is making the presentation to Steve while Jess (partly obscured), Brenda, Annie and Hollie look on. In front are Katie, Ginger and Rhea who were part of the team that came to District 9940. It was great to catch up with them. (Isn't it good to have a photo of something other than us singing a waiata)There were some speakers at this Conference who were truly spellbinding and moving. The Youth exchange students did a talent show that was great fun.
Rotarians in the US seem to be much more involved with International projects than New Zealand Rotarians, and there were examples of inspired and well researched projects, particularly in Africa.
